      Crosse, Helen F.

      SUN PRAIRIE - Helen F. Crosse, age 83, died on Saturday, April 17, 2004, at a Sun Prairie nursing home. She was born in Arkansas on Sept. 2, 1920, the daughter of Earl and Jeffie Crum. On Dec. 5, 1942, she was married to her "Sweetheart," Giles Crosse in Little Rock, Ark. He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 2001.

      Helen was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison for more than 50 years and recently became a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie.

      Survivors include two sisters; four brothers; a brother-in-law, Robert Chase; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; as well as many friends. She is also survived by a special niece, Judy Showers, who helped Helen through some very difficult times; and also Walter Kubly and the Cress family and staff, all of whom did so much for Gi and Helen over the years, God bless them all.

      Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, with the Rev. Barbara Simmers officiating. Burial will follow in the Sun Prairie City Cemetery.
