      Charlotte A. Wendt

      Marshall - Charlotte A. Wendt, age 91, passed away on Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Sun Prairie Health Care Center. Charlotte was born on Oct. 25, 1918, in Lowell, the daughter of Albert and Olga (Loeck) Wetzel. On March 2, 1946, she married Marvin Wendt at St. John's Lutheran Church in Waterloo.

      Charlotte had farmed with her husband in the Marshall area for many years and they enjoyed gardening after retirement. She was member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marshall.

      Survivors include her husband, Marvin; their children, Charlene (John) Stark of Nashville, Tenn., Robert (Joan) Wendt of Marshall, and Allen (Catherine) Wendt of Marshall; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and two brothers.

      Funeral services will be on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at 11 a.m. at ST. PAUL'S LUTHERAN CHURCH in Marshall with Pastor Mark Schoeneck officiating. Burial will be in Medina Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.
