      MADISON, Wl. - Mrs. Raymond (Henrietta) Hemel age 75, of 38 Lancing St., died Friday, October 5, 1979 in a local nursing home following a long illness. She was the former Henrietta Marks and was born June 20,1904 in the town of Lanark, Portage County near Amherst, Wl. She was married to Raymond Sept. 23, 1930.
      Mrs. Hemel was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, the Emmanuel Lutheran Women's Guild and the Altar Guild.
      Survivors Include her husband, Raymond; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbert (Shirley) Knickmeler of Stoughton; a son, Harold L. of Colon, Michigan; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Manci of Wisconsin Rapids and Mrs. Edna Lind of Waupaca; many neices and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by three brothers, William, George and Elmer.
      Funeral services will be held at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church 1021 Spaight St. on Monday, Oct. 8th at 2 p.m. Rev. Gerhardt Hillmer will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7 at the GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME 5203 Monona Dr.«/b»
